Big drips

by loveslifeloveschocolate @ 2008-05-28 - 18:13:50

The weather is a lot of a trial for me at the moment. I am usually easy going about most forms of weather and love the changeablility of the British weather.

Unfortunately my extension is not water tight and I have been on the roof with hubby stapling down the windblown moisture barrier and mopping up water that has gone down through the new floor to the computer room. Luckily the computers were not in there.

I had a wet bank holiday Monday in Chippenham too and hardly sold anything. We only stayed 'cos we paid out so much to be there.

T is back at work and the load has been lifted now. Her husband is not fully over his surgery and had to be radmitted to hospital so that delayer her return.

Expecting to be at a local American car rally over the weekend but predicted rain means it is doubtful. Got to convince J of that though.

I guess you must work in a weather-affected area then. That must make life more than usually difficult. But here on the extreme West coast of Wales, it has been fine for most of the last month. Some rain and wind in the last 3 days, but otherwise excellent. This is a funny old country we live in, weather wise, and I hope it picks up for you soon, with summer round the corner.

Cheers, Tom.
