Poorly sick

I am off sick from work for the fist time in a long time today. I have a cold and a chest infection. I should be ok. I am fitter and healthier than I have been for years. This last two weeks have been awful for sleep deprivation with both my daughter and husband off sick with their coughs and chest infections. I have also had a lot of stress and have been busy at work which is emotionally demanding. So I suppose I had it coming.

The builders are still in but progress has been made. They have done some plastering and the electician is in now.

The good thing about being off sick on a day like this is that I can spend a bit of time with my friends in blogland and also enjoy the sunshine while it is there. Being sick isn't all bad. I even managed to do some house work. Gotta take it easy though or I won't get better in time for the weekend when I am selling stuff at a canal fest.

I hope veryone else is well and happy :D

There is a chest infection going around one of my family has fought one since Christmas. I get the impression since reading your blog that you are constantly under pressure. It about time we are allowed to have a short sleep in the afternoon while at work. I ama cat knapper and when at work I would take a snooze in the afternoon at my desk....but then I had my own office I was never caught asleep...would wake up when the door creaked....lesson one ........don't oil the door hinges Enjoy your time off.

Please note ...I am not a cat knapper. shaping cats by striking them with a stone would soon land me in jail.......no I nap ..an afternoon sleep..must take more of them or better check my writing.
