Now I don't watch much TV, apart from Merlin on a Saturday. I am not often parked in front of the box as I would rather read. This Sunday the remake of the Survivors series starts and I am rather excited.
I watched the original series a few years ago on DVD. The basic premise is that a virus kills 90% of humans and this is the story of some of the survicors. There were some shortcomings in the original series including the fact that the hair do's were gret despite the fact that as far as we knew there wasn't a hairdresser around. Otherwise it was good for it's time and now it will be bought right up to date.
I am also interested because the daughter of a friend is playing a small role in it, though we won't get to see her for the first few epsiodes. Here is the link if you are interested:

Thanks for the link will try to watch. It is so cold here I have EVEN put away the car a sure sign of frost to come. I had a leak on the pipe-work leading to the washing machine a drip every second for two days ( I think ) is a lot of water ...which has crept under the dividing wall into my son 's ex-bedroom.don't normally go in so did not notice. Life is made up of such events fortunately not very often.
